Chris
Delfino is a man who knows what he wants and exactly
how to get it! His award-winning Acura Integra
is a testament to his undying love for custom
cars and expensive accessories. A graduate of
JFK High School, Chris has won top awards in shows
including: The 2000 Simon Sanchez Millennium Car
Show (Sports Compact Category), Motor Madness
2000 (Custom Compact Category), and Radical Rides
2000 (Sport Custom Compact Category). His car
placed first in all three competitions making
him the envy of other enthusiasts, and the man
to beat at every show. Describing his Acura's
design and color as "clean, classy, and well-thought-out,"
his drive to have an outstanding ride is fueled
by his "determination to win." "I try to be unique
and not bite from anyone else's style," exclaims
Chris.
The
champagne colored Acura boasts numerous modifications
including ground effects with a "blitz front bumper",
"bomb kit side skirts", "rear bumper fiberglass
Z3 fenders", "wings west 1-piece wrap-around wing",
and "APC generation 2 Aliza taillights." The imported
parts shape the Acura into an eye-catching piece
that comes from the influence of designs he saw
during visits to car shows on the mainland. "I
try to see what's in nationally and be the first
to bring it to Guam," he enthusiastically explains.
Chris's
parts are ordered from RS2 Motorsports andCharisma
Auto Tech. Coincidentally, he is also instrumental
in distributing auto parts to other local custom
car and truck clubs like Guaranteed Auto and Lowered
2 Perfection for both of the above companies.
Born
and raised on Guam, Chris has been with Made to
Excite, or MTX, for several years. The club itself
has been around since 1995. MTX holds no stringent
requirements, however, members need to have a
positive attitude and be supportive of one anothers'
needs. "We're a tight club, we help each other
through thick and thin, " proclaims Chris.
